Should I aerate and scarify my newly laid turf?


I have some new turf laid and I cut it back too short too early, it's only been down 2 weeks so that's my fault. Can I have some alive and tips to get this grass to thrive?

I live in Devon in England.

    Water it the way you were told to. Don’t mow, aerate or destroy any other way you asked about.

    Aerating and scarifying will stress your turf more than the early mow. It needs to have zero stress and lots of water right now.

    Looks over saturated doesn’t appear to need aeration it needs two seasons of growing before you start messing with it

    Water it and keep it that length you’ll be set

    Stop touching it till it’s well rooted. Just don’t let it dry out.

    Let the roots find its feet. It will bounce back soon enough
