This is how my lawn looks like at the moment. I'm thorn between just pulling everything and start from the beginning or simply cut everything with the machine and manually removing weeds as they grow and replanting grass. What is your opinion guys?

Just mow it and go from there. It’s fine. Grass is resilient.
Use some weed killer & fertilizer and see what that does as well
Ask which “weed and feed” is best for your type of grass (if you can see it under there), and apply. If you mow it every 5 to 6 days for a few months the grass will defeat the weeds.
What you do depends on where you’re located, what your goals are and how much time, effort and money you want to spend. Does the area get a full 6 hours or more of sun per day?
