  1. This was funny, I laughed when you said you were going to strip-garden. You should do more humorous and fun videos. I always look forward to your videos when they come out. You're getting pretty tan while you work.

  2. I did not hear the beginning of this video and was caught off guard when you started taking your clothes off. 😂

  3. I follow you to help me time my planting because I live in Michigan too. Should I really put my plants out this weekend?

And does your place sell marigolds? I need some

  4. Getting ready to plant my onion seedlings tomorrow. I was curious about the zuchinni spacing. Isn't that to close together?

  5. Finished last week. Corn, Kale, Peas, Tri color beans, acorn squash, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, a variety of tomatoes including the giant crimson, onions, parsley, celery, cucumber carrots, Brussel sprouts, rhubarb, sage, spinach, and french marigolds. Strawberries and raspberries are in as well. Cold weather crops have been taking off for about a month now. Last yr was a small test garden, this year I ran out of space. 😂

  6. Wish I could plant mine but its too wet here now in NW Ohio! More coming too for n the next few days.😭 hopefully by the end of next week I can get something in.👍. Glad you got yours in!

  7. I'm just beginning watching this video and I really believe that you should have made a different bet than taking off a piece of clothing every minute LOL

  8. 😂😂😂 that was fun. Haha I did think that you had more shirts on. Smart thinking. I would gave put more socks on too and shorts under my jeans as well. Just in case. That was fun and you did get everything planted in record time. Planting takes time. Usually takes me a whole day to get everything planted. This year, I am going to raised beds. So will be concentrating on getting those built. So the only thing that will be getting planted are the asparagus and some fruit trees in another area. Next year will be gunho with everything from A to Z being planted. I will also be doing some beds with medicinal herbs and a kitchen herb and spice bed. Whole homestead will be getting a makeover. New chicken coop, new duck coop and pond and a wood shed. Lots of activity going on at the homestead.

  9. Just north of Canadian border, planted carrots and onions today. Having a heat wave, so taking advantage of it ☀️

  10. It's still raining steady here in western NY. My garden is flooded. Hopefully, it's not a total loss this season!

  11. Too fast or slow, too early or not, this cracked me up!😂 In MI too and hoping the temps continue to slowly increase.

  12. I'm so happy you did not have to do naked gardening. You are nice and everything but nobody needs to see that. We're all here to learn your expertise on planting❤

  14. Omg this was so hilarious, Luke!! I was lol!!! I’m planting all my flowers in my newest landscaping and as soon as I’m done I’m planting out EVERYTHING!! All my veg garden goes in this weekend/week and I literally took off of work to do it as well as a couple other things! Good video. Thanks, guys!

  15. You guys are too funny!! I started several new to me basils like lemon and cinnamon that I’m excited about! I have several new drying beans and several new peppers this year I am so excited to try!!

Planting basil out today and the squash and melons are in the seed room to sprout!! Woohoo

  16. Arent' you in zone 5? I'm still schlepping my tomatoes in and out of the house every day, hoping they're not getting too big.

  17. Fun video to celebrate Naked Gardening Day. 😂

I'm excited for getting my garden area mapped out and started for the first time. But, I might have gotten in a little over my head. lol

  18. I hope you didn't get cold. I'm in zone 6b. So far, I've planted onions and red potatoes. I planted tomato plants and bell pepper plants yesterday because the 10-day and 30-day weather forecasts looked good. Fingers crossed!

  19. Please don’t do another video like this. You ended clean but the challenge of speed could have been enough, and I often watch with my kids. Usually I love your stuff!

  20. What will you do with the rest of the onions?
I tried your bulk-seeding tip for the first time and it was a huge success!
That said, I now have way more onions than I have space for, a fellow gardener suggested I just stuff them "here and there" throughout my small garden.

  21. Isn't it still too early to be planting for Michigan? The low is in the 30's here tonight. These cold nights just won't seem to go away this spring.

  22. a tray each of multisown Zebrune shallots, Yellow Sweet Spanish, Long of Tropea, Redwing, and Giant Zittau onions, 39 Amish Paste tomatoes (I am going to share those with friends/family), 36 Ajvarski peppers (sharing!), 18 Early Jalapeno, 22 Aji Dulce (seeds from a Venezuelan friend) pepper, 12 Big Jim NuMex pepper, 12 Doux d'Espagne pepper, 12 Leutschauer pepper, 6 Stupice tomato, 5 Barry's Crazy yellow cherry tom, 18 Ruth's Perfect tom, 6 Gardener's Delight cherry tom (only one for us!) a tray of Pesche's Gold marigold, 14 Holy Basil Tulsi, 10 eggplant "Aswad" they are HUGE, some large leaf Italian basil, lemon basil, lettuce basil, Broccolis: Aspabroc, Umpqua, and Yod Fah, Cauliflowers: Violetta Italia, Rober, Amazing, Green Macerata, Purple of Sicily. Potatoes already in ground. We are zone 4 and had lots of rain, and no raised beds (oh my aching back) so I haven't gotten the 100's of onions/shallots all planted yet! Tomorrow will plant what I have room for, and remainers will go into 5 gal buckets which I place outside garden fence amidst the perennial beds, that's a great way to grow more! Garlic 4 varieties is already looking good, and a rare perennial multiplier onion "Shirley Hammond" is also up & running. Honeyberries are flowering as are the pears, and apple & cherry trees soon to follow. Currant blossoms are so small I never notice –I better go look! Love to make black currant/black pepper wine, so delicious! I wish I had more greenhouse space, and indoor shelves with lights. I would grow a lot more flowers!!! It's so costly to buy those, around $30-40 a tray in our area for zinnias, alyssum, moss rose. I do allow snaps to self-sow (same for lettuce and asian greens).

  23. I planted my potatoes three weeks ago. I’m in SE Michigan. I had to cover a couple days ago for a frost, but their coming up just fine 😊

  24. Luke planting tomatoes already? I looked up your weather and low 40s nights. This goes against all the advice given in the past. Is it because of the farm you dont have time and wanted to just get them in the ground or do you always plant your tomatoes at the beginning of may

  25. You are such a tease! But it was fun and shows us that we can speed through planting if needed, and still do it right! Next time, don't wear those extra shirts!

  26. Luke-you are so funny but you’ve made me nervous. Isn’t it too soon to be planting our tender plants. I always plant the last week in May.
