Did a high flow splitter set up….only to hear water hammer when I turn the valves off. I guess I need to get a hammer arrestor now.

10 percent inspiration 90 percent perspiration, right?

This is basically what I use, but yeah I added an arrestor.

  3. Just wait until you make a female to female adapter, get another timer, and back feed your loop for moar volume.

  4. You can add a hammer arrestor on the other side of that split, and open both sides. It will stop the hammer right away.

Where can i purchase one of these water hammers?

I’ve always put a short leader hose on first before the splitters, a lot more force on them than you think.

You can call me stupid but I don’t understand what the problem is here? Can someone explain or help me understand why this wouldn’t work?

  8. My arrestor worked like a little angles for two or three days but now I hear the hammer sometimes. Maybe I’m just hearing the arrestor solenoid. I hope so.

Looks a lot gooder*. Advice from experience, loop the hose and secure with string or zip ties. Remove any possible pressure from the plastic coupler on the timer, they crack easily.
