I chopped my fiddle and it looks to be growing some great roots. I’m confused on the bottom half of the stem having the white stuff on it? Are these roots that are about to sprout? How long should I wait before putting in soil?

NO your roots need to have roots then it’s ready.

You will get conflicting comments on this. The whole “roots on roots” is a myth and anyone that works in a greenhouse or a nursery will tell you that no nursery waits for secondary roots. However, having said that, you already have secondary roots 😉

How long did it take to get to here? Just curious 🙂
