Got this baby from Costco last summer in a SE facing window. About 6’ tall. Had these big brown spots already. Has not put out a new leaf since arriving, dropped a few.
Would you chop the trunk and send it outside for the summer?
I personally wouldn’t chop the trunk maybe prune the top couple branches I’d also always put mine outside in the spring and summer where It can get morning sun until 10 o’clock fertilize once a week in the spring and summer as well once a month in the fall in winter

Flf is tropical plant, its growing temperature is between 68-100°F(20-38°C),it’s good to place it outdoor..
and you just always pinch terminal buds(at stem’s tip)off..more buds will grow along the stem..stem also grow thicker and keep its height
