Wife needed suggestions for Father’s Day. I think I know what to ask for, other than the usual.

    What a bunch of dicks.

At least you can evaluate your spacing.

Man imagine if you’re entire lawn was that dark green. That’d be nice.

What does Scotts say about their spreader? Have they resolved to just never fix it? Just make as much money off suckers as they can reputation be damned?

Reminds me of the Snake game on old Nokia phones.

Any chance you could post of video of the inside and outside of your spreader while pushing it (doesn’t need any chemicals in it)? And, did you calibrate the spreader before using it?

This looks to be an issue bigger than calibration or fertilizer hitting and building up on the wheels.

I’ve used many Scott’s spreaders over many many years and never saw an issue this bad.

I wonder if you can create fertilizer striping if you don’t cross hatch?

That’s not a huge yard (although it’s 2x the size of mine). What about just using a handheld spreader?

  8. Looks like you used a hose end sprayer on stream !

Damn – always wanted to install in-lawn heating at my place. Nice.

  10. I think spreading by hand beats any spreader and it’s free. Change my mind.

  11. Let me guess. This fertilizer was spread using a Scott’s spreader.
