❤I like gardening.
Can you give me a job?
I am learning English now.🫶
Oh Laura! This is such a FUN video! Totally action packed! May I suggest?.. replace the Cordial Canary Bugleweed Ajuga with your golden Oregano! They will give you a BRIGHT chartreuse pop – they are brighter with the more sun they get (have grown for YEARS in 9b sun, and part sun as a ground cover). I promise you'll love the exchange!❤
My husband just ask me what I wanted for my up coming birthday, a Dewalt trimmer was my instant request. Thank you for being such an inspiration!
The garden going to look so beautiful in spring/ summer time Wow I'm looking forward to seeing it❤
Here in zone 8b (Vancouver Canada) we can cut the daylilies right back after the first blooms and they will reflush with new greens, although not often new flowers
Question: are all apples on crabapples red?
Little fish tip: you don’t just acclimate temperature. You should always slowly add some of the new water into the bag, waiting 10 or so minutes between water additions. Double the amount of new to old water and then transfer. There’s ph, water hardness, etc etc for them to also adjust to. Temperature is the least of the things they need for acclimating
Nice. planting my butternut squash so my family can all enjoy. My grandaughter Lily 16 months old is going to love it.
❤so beautiful
It's been such a joy to watch the South Garden move from bare white dirt to the lush wonderfulness it is now.
Oh boy, who else was expecting the larger koi to eat up those smaller koi mistaking them as food?😅
Cut back your day lilies all they way after they bloom and it willl grow fresh foliage. Then they don't look tattered. Not sure if it would help with spider mites though.
Hi Laura it took 5 yrs and our Koi had babies. Our pond has frogs but honestly they don't bother them. We have 29 Koi now.our pond has 2 waterfalls. A hiding area for the fish. In June of 2027 we are expanding our pond We also have 1000s of Fancy Fan Tail guppies
So I started helping Laura plant this morning while I drank my coffee but then remembered it’s supposed to be 90 degrees today and the humidity thermometer was already past 90 so I picked up my daughter that likes to plant and we set up a galvanized bed and planted a few different things. I may have lost a few pounds from glistening in the sun(you know southern women don’t sweat) and now here I am helping Laura plant again. It’s been a full day ❤❤
When bag floated off it looked like Finding Nemo…..lol😂
Oh my, I was “fingers crossed” that the big fish would not gobble up the new baby fish on film! Go hide, go hide!
Laura, I love the different textures with the white flowers. Who would have thought putting white with white, but completely different textures? I know the daffodils “ I think that’s what they are”? will expire, but both look so pretty together with the different textures! Wow.
My neighbour has a large and mature Catalpa tree. Chitalpa is a cross with Catalpa. Here (Seattle), his catalpa doesn't leaf out until late May or early June. I have a feeling that if you are patient, your entire Chitalpa would leaf out, especially since you are seeing green under the bark of those larger branches. Thank you for introducing us to Chitalpas…I would love to get one for my garden!
Just thin out the Day- Lillies. Maybe that will help with circulation?
Congratulations on your new baby fish 🐟 Samantha and Benjamin!
The garden is gorgeous
I have wild violets growing everywhere lol FREE
Laura what is the power loper you are using? I could not find it in your store. Thanks.💜
Your fish have grown so much! You can tell they are happy!
😳Gosh Laura and Aaron! Were you not at all concerned that those big Koi would just immediately swallow up those babies, mistaking them for food?!? They are SO voracious!! I sure would have been. But glad it all worked out! 👍🏻
Thank you, Laura for always showing the tags I get a much cleaner screenshot if it pops up within the video 😊
Also, my wish list is getting way too long 😂
I have periwinkle all over my front gardens my garden is wild English country cottage garden in the city lol.
Laura have you thought about bee keeping?
Last year my El Nino Chitalpa also died right down to the ground from a series of super hard freezes, but this year it is budding from all the way at the top (over 6 ft). I only had to do a little cleanup for a few obviously dead branches. I've actually staked the largest branch to try and train it a bit to give us more shade on our patio. We're in NW Arkansas, zone 6b/7a. We'll see what happens! 🤷♀️
Laura look up the yellow butterflies magnolia tree gorgeous fragrant huge flowers you will love it I have 2 love them and will watch them grow

"Do I wanna watch?
Not necessarily.
I've got my own stuff to do
But thanks for the offer"
I feel like we heard a little inside joke between Laura and Aaron. 😂
Care to share Laura? 😂
Please please share your's mom garden tours, what changes she had made since then
Laura, how long til you amputate a finger with that electric pruner?
Since showing Koi, it no longer surprises me to see thousands of dollars per fish. They are called the Floating Jewels! Keep the sack of Koi in the shade when introducing them to the pond. On a sunny day that sack can boil them in a flash!
The violets come up all over my yard in northern Kentucky! I love all your projects!! They give me so much inspiration!!
Where did the frogs come from? I think I missed that video.
I wss thrilled to find a PW Chiltalpa El Nino at our local grocery store yesterday!
Laura, bigger fish will eat smaller fish… Maybe that's why no babies? I suggest maybe a few caves or something the bigger fish can't get into .
🙋🏼♂️ Garden designer here: my recommendation for the daylilies is to not plant them en-mass but to use them as accents around the garden instead. This will allow for the blooms to truly shine and the spent blooms will not appear as jarring nor will deadheading become an overwhelming chore.
I love seeing your flower beds filling in!
The structure of the Cupid's Dart plant reminds me a lot of scabiosa.
My koi tend to spawn in early August. Yours look old enough this year.
Wow, it's so cool to see Laura planting on a berm! It really is the first time seeing her plant on anything other than a flat surface. I love it. 💚🤍💚
Yup. Not too fond of that smoke bush! 😂
I love the music while you plant
Ajuga blooms are pretty but soooo invasive. Got into my grass. Horrible.
I have my loppers like you used and it is my favorite tool !
What’s cuter? Speaking in the potbound plant’s voice “ahhgh get me out of here!” Or asking Aaron “Awww are you trying to not make a mess? That’s so brave.” 😂
So exciting seeing your new fish!! The kids excitement put a smile on my face today! I am going to try a chipalta this year. I know it will be very iffy because I'm zone 5a, but I really want to try it.
