Wow kluci to bude nádhera. Miluji ten váš postoj to vracet zpět a netlačit tam své ego. Jste naprosto úžasní oba ,moc držím palce.
I can imagine your beautiful garden & home in the future, that you and many friends will enjoy for years to come!
Happy Easter ❤ the plans look great for the garden, look forward to see it develop
Dear Patrick and Stuart, what lovely plans you have for your beautiful gardens and so sensible to make them so that you can manage them on your own, yet still have the history of the grounds.
I like how you had a furniture move around…in my younger days I was always moving things around for a fresh look without spending money.
I so look forward to your vlogs, and wish I'd found you so much sooner!
Thank you both for sharing your plans.
Take care.
U have some stunning Mirrors . The Garden will look lovely . Nothing like home grown Peaches i have one peach tree and we never have to buy any fruit through summer , with a Nectarine tree and Peach Apples and Plums .
Wonderful plans you have there, yes everything takes time, Happy Easter have a great weekend, hugs to you both 🤗🤗🇬🇧
Thanks for sharing your future plans.
Love your garden plans, thank you for sharing. love your channel, far better than T&A, as your content is 100% substance not fillers or stretching out repeats, your channel has volume .i enjoy it very much, and appreciate the time and work load to produce your content.
There's a YouTube channel, Common Flower Farm, her husband has made a wild garden with only a mowed path. It's beautiful. It's full of wildflowers and even wild orchids, he threw the seed for years until he achieved the look he was after.
That golden mirror looks beautiful. Love moving furniture around and instantly you have a new house.
Loving the garden plans, wild is beautiful for nature to enjoy, I’m not mad on formal gardens I much prefer the natural look and the birds will enjoy the water feature. Happy Easter weekend everyone
Ps….i don’t like my veg to be peeded on either 😂😂
wishing you both a Happy and delicious Easter! 🐣 (June see your comment)
How do you ever find time to relax and go out! You’re both doing such a great job. The grounds, outbuildings and chateau are very beautiful. Your plans look very interesting and in keeping with the surroundings. Making things manageable sounds the way to go. Have a lovely Easter and I hope you both are feeling 100% soon. ❤
So funny that I had asked the question about the marble top after watching Wednesday's blog, and you led this blog with the marble top! Love the idea of getting an antique piece of marble cut to the template. Also, I love the ideas for the back park area. Very wise to do a design that is manageable and yet will make for beautiful views out the back. This really has become my favorite chateau vlog. You really think things through, take the history into account, and the results are always stunning. Have a marvelous weekend!
Can u get this product in France? Available from Amazon in US. You brush only on top of cut stump: "Bonide 2746 Stump & Vine Killer Concentrate, 8 oz Stumps and Vines Without harming Turf. Contains Brush Easy Application. Kills Oak, Poison Ivy and More". Don't know if it works for your philosophy, but the fact you only touch stump appeals to me. Good luck! Your grounds are looking great, lots of hard work shows. Colorado Cherri
I am excited about the future plans for the garden, a lot of work good luck .
I really love your new format. Amazing music. Your personalities seem to come out more. Your chateau is beautiful.😍
It's going to be a lovely garden
What a wonderful journey you are on. Thank you for taking us with you. 🎉
Would love updates on kitty!
Finally, it was good to see the 2 of you sit down with your future garden plans & see your spring flowers in the background. ❤
Happy Easter! The chateau is looking more and more alive. Good job. Hugs and fishes from Texas
The plans for yard/park/fields behind the chateau look beautiful and practical … looking forward to seeing you bringing your plans to life!
12th Century foundations!!!!! Amazing! Good to plan for the gardens, maximize their beauty and productivity, while minimizing their upkeep. (Sorry I am catching up. Been up home, starting to go thru the folks' house –en fin!)
Glad to Stewart feeling better. Busy as usual doing projects great and small and all with exquisite taste. Happy Easter to you all.
Exciting plans for the back of the chateau.
Great hearing about the plans for the gardens. ( Personally…i cant keep houseplants alive…much less a huge garden! LOL)
I love an overhead shot, I love areal photography! It’s looking gorgeous and I can’t wait to see it in bloom!! It’s going to be amazing 😻 love to you both ❤
🐦 Happy Easter
Patrick Stuart.🐦
Your plans are Wonderful…. …..
Your chateau is very lucky, to have such caring , visionary, outstanding caring men, to completely gently restore ,this Chateau to complete beauty and excellence.
Patrick,your weight loss is so noticeable,well done.x
You should fence your kitchen garden with wire small enough that rabbits can’t get in.
What fun shifting around your furniture. A little like going into your own antique shop and redecorating! 😊😊 That gold mirror is stunning and absolutely perfect in its new position
The garden plan looks beautiful!! I love all your ideas. The butterfly garden is gorgeous idea. Bees too will love it. It would be beautiful to explore this garden and find wonderful statues and ornaments trees and flowers. Really lovely. Such a vast landscape certainly needs to be easy to maintain and celebrated. 🎉🎉
Happy Easter ❤🌻🐣🐤🐥🍀 💐🐞good luck with your garden plans – so exciting 👍
That mirror looks SO good on the striped wallpaper
Hi sweeties. I had a busy weekend. Lots of dancing 💃💃 and searching for eggs….haha. Stuart, I hope you're feeling better. Knowing the layout of the chateau and gardens, it's easy for me to imagine what your vision is. I love the idea of restoring the vegetable garden separate from the rest using a fence. I think that laying down gravel at the back of the chateau will give the chateau a more grand vibe. The wild flowers in the centre at the back will look great. I really hope that the roses you planted will give beautiful flowers and maybe a lovely scent. Every two months, my sister-in-law and I visit a garden centre just for fun. I'm always looking for seeds or plants that you can use. It's so much cheaper here than I France. I hope you had an Easter Weekend. Hugs and kisses also for the furries and Figaro 🥰🥰😘🐕🐈
Personally I would just keep the original cracked marble………….
I just love the current plans for the park. I'm sure they will fluctuate and you're so smart to think about future proofing them, maintenance wise. We're not getting any younger! Maybe the chelsea flower show in May could have some inspiration. I understand Monty Don is designing a garden with puppies in mind! 😊❤🐶
Happy Garden plans!💜🌈💜
Great spaces and super plans! Cheers!
For nedle(not sure I spelt that correctly 🤦♂️) or invasive trouble making vine what we do over here in the U.S. might I suggest using a small hand pump sprayer mixture with hot water Dawn dish soap and a chlorine pool algae preventative this should die it off ( maybe not for ever but should kill for a while (you said it invasive so the roots go everywhere (ugh🤦♂️lol) half hot water, 2 tablespoons dish soap and 1 or 2 cups algae preventative or you swap out the algae preventative with vinegar or Apple cider vinegar. hope this helps. You guys are amazing 👍😁👍
I absolutely loved this video. You both are so inspiring ❤ big love to you both xx
I love the overhead layout for reference. What a huge property. I don’t know how the two of you do it all. ❤
Your property is gorgeous ❤
Great drone shot of the back of the chateau. Love the plans for the garden and potager. 😊
Beautiful doesn't even describe your land. Question: Is that a grave next to the apple tree?
I am so appreciative of this video. How you have explained what your vision is for it. I feel much more connected to where you are going with the overall vision. I thank you so much for this video. I hope I have been able to express that to you, before I couldn't and did not understand what the property looked like at all. Again Merci.
Aloha Patrick and Stuart, I’m at a loss for words. This video really touched my heart deeply. I had no idea of the history of Chateau de Colombe. I wish you could get some kind of grant for the heroic work you and Stewart are doing to preserve this magnificent historical site. Your forsite is tremendous. Somehow your dream will become a reality. Thank you for respecting and preserving this treasure 🏰.
