  2. literally in the middle of watching this, happy bc im on the right track ( 4 week old tomato & pepper seedlings ) but paused the video to look over at my two dogs going to town digging. They ate all of them. I had kept them on the floor like you have with a grow light. Call me dramatic but i’ve been crying. I am so angry !

  3. Great video. We live in Bradenton, FL. We don’t worry about frost here. It’s the summer heat. I start my garden around the end of August with seeds, seedlings and direct sow. It’s been productive for 9 years. Apart from growing for food, I get the most satisfaction from the entire growing process. Babying each seed or seedlings. Watching the plants progress, the vegetables that we always share with neighbors or friends. In the end enjoying a satisfying meal of God’s wonderful bounty……sometimes it’s hard to eat your young…….

  4. Wow what a link list! I made my own pads from spooled heat strips many years ago that I wired with clip's and taped. I ferment my own Natto using a controller with a dial needing to be around 100F in the oven so setting temp digitally would same a lot of bother in the 24hrs needed. Put it in my shopping list when I have $ 🙂 Thanks

  5. Just cause the big stores use non organic why would you push that? that's why I start mine and NOT buy them from stores. Health 1st

  6. I don't germinate my seeds inside my home where it's heated. I grow them in our unheater workshop. Should I leave the germinated seedlings on a heat mat and grow lights?

  7. ❓️I have a 3×4 little inexpensive plastic greenhouse with a zip opening. Would it be okay to start seeds in Peat pellets outdoors in this where they are exposed to sun & wind? Do you think the seeds would germinate & the seedlings grow okay. This way I don't have to move trays in & out if they were started indoors. Im in zone 8A. Morning temp ranges from 50s to 60s & day high low 70s to mid 80s. Thxs

  8. Thank you SO much for all your information you provide. You are by far my favorite gardening channel on YouTube! You provide so much amazing information that just makes sense! I live in Illinois growing zone 5a but your information is so applicable to my climate because we have extremely hot humid summers, often getting into the 90s by June and having several days in the 100s every year. Yet with all that humidity most of our days are very sunny and the sun just beats down so intensely. Im so excited to put your suggestions into practice this year! ❤
