Hi all!
I just purchased this fiddle leaf fig and I have the perfect place for it in my home. Indirect sunlight. Room is on average 70 degrees.

My question are…

Since I’m seeing roots come out of the pot, is it time to repot? And would I go a size that’s about 2” wider? Maybe 4”?

And may I get some direction on how to treat the soil? I’m reading about how I should treat it with fertilizer once a month, during this season? I am located in New York.

And is there anything else you’d suggest I should know? I am definitely a bigger with this plant. Thank you

It’s beautiful. Do not go more than 2 inches up. Use well-draining soil. Bottom water. Try not to disturb the root ball too much when you repot.
