  1. I've made dandelion jelly a few times and it's a favorite but this year I will make the syrup. It's faster.

  2. Next time use organic cane sugar and real lemon juice because it really makes the color of the violet stand out!

  3. Interesting that the color of the flowers is so different but when processed into syrup it becomes very similar even without the coconut sugar. You are fortunate to have access to non-toxic flowers that have not been directly sprayed. The cats sure have the life don't they? Hope your arms continue to heal as it has been quite an ordeal for you I am sure. Hope you have a blessed and wonderful Easter tomorrow…

  4. My mother used to sautee wild dandelion with garlic and olive oil. So delicious!😋Have a blessed Easter Kaye!✝️🙏

  5. Looks delicious Kaye, I'm going to try this ,love is the key, always 💞 your cats are precious ☺ HAPPY Easter Kaye

  6. Hello there precious lady,Hello bj.pleased bj is helping and keeping watch over you kaye. Love the film again today, well done to you,im happy to see the bee 🐝 and your delightful dandelion s.i have gathered some to dry, also have permission now when I visit mum the farmer near bye has said I may harvest some or many as I like from his field. So happy about that,.Thank-you and take good c,happy Easter weekend to you ,blessings 🙏 too.xxx😊

  7. My whole backyard is one giant wild violet patch and the front is completely dandelion but I haven't done this yet. Neighbors all use a massive amount of chemicals and I am in a cul-de-sac so I can't use anything from the front yard. My daughter makes wild violet jam which is the same ingredients but cooked longer. Hers turned out a light purple color. I couldn't help but wonder if the kitties get the poison ivy on their fur.

  8. You should have jewelweed somewhere next to the poison ivy( that is the cure) for what you have, cut a brown paper bag as big as the rash into a square, pour apple cider vinegar into a bowl and place piece of bag in until soaked. Place over rash and keep on until it has completely dried( good luck).

  9. No dandelions in bloom here yet, but I've got 2 large wild violet plants in my strawberry bed, and Purple Dead Nettle everywhere else, although I prefer to call it Lamium. 😊
