In this video, I’m replacing diseased Loropetalum with North Pole® Arborvitae — a hardy, elegant evergreen that offers year-round beauty and a perfect vertical accent for narrow spaces. 🌲
The Loropetalum simply grew too wide for the area, and after battling disease, it was time for a smarter solution. North Pole® Arborvitae reaches 10–15 ft. tall and only 3–5 ft. wide at maturity, making it an ideal screening plant for tight spaces. While it doesn’t offer flowers or fragrance, its rich green foliage creates a lush, structured backdrop that brings calm and privacy — especially helpful when blocking out a busy street or neighboring eyesores.

How long is it going to take till they are 6 feet tall? I have to plant a bunch in a few months. I think I'm going to try to start with some 4 footers.
