All that on the right is coming from one vine and its growing so fast and the leaves on the top were brown and crusty, idk what to do

  1. Seems like maybe it needs something to hang onto. A lattice of some sort perhaps.

Chop and prop. But also. It needs more light on the top of the pot! So maybe add a small grow light. Good luck 🤞🏻

Trim the ends for new plants. Just put them in water to root them. I’ll add them back to the pot to make it more full or start a new one. 🥰

  4. You can chop it and stick them back in the pot for a fuller plant.

It’s a crawling plant so would do better shorter. There is a lot of space in your pot to make it fuller.

I would chop the vines, propagate them in water and then plant them back in that same pot to make the plant fuller

I have…5 thriving zabrina from the one I purchased.

You just have to cut a stem and put the wet end in the dirt. It will be just fine.

They like to do this. In nature they crawl along the ground and root and sprout the whole way. You can chop and prop for a fuller basket or roll it up and lay it all on the dirt if it hurts you to cut it.

Give it light so it doesn’t have to run away from its pot 🤣

These are really easy to propagate. I always get nervous to chop, but I just did with mine and they rooted in water in like 5 days. (You can also just straight up cut and then put back in the dirt, but I like to see the roots grow first.)

I sympathize with you. I had one an I killed it a year ago. Was a fond childhood memory I took it for show a tell in my Montessori school when I was lil. I was super sad when it went on the plant heaven. 🪴🫤😬

Trim it back and put them in water to get roots and start another plant. I love wandering jew plants .I have 2 of them easy to grow. Please cut it back. Good luck.

I had two of these, they didn’t want to work for me, and I don’t have enough room for more plants. They are so pretty though.

they dont like hanging over stuff because the rim damages the stem

  15. Mine thrive on neglect! Lots of light and water once a month or every other! Don’t cut and prop. Just fold it into the pot

  16. Ecstatic-Ad-5076

Mine did that too haha, I ended up just throwing it out bc I didn’t have a spot for it

  17. LootleSox

That’s a wandering dude, is its namesake as this is natural. Crispy leaves are bound to happen but more light can help. Cut sections off at a leaf node and can propagate. Or toss, they grow quickly

These guys *thrive* with the chop-n-prop! They’re meant to crawl along the ground, and root in.
