Howdy! I’m a brand new home owner in North Carolina, and my lawn has these weeds that grow a lot faster than the rest of my lawn.

Before I just start tearing things up, just wanted to see if yall might have some recommendations on how I can solve this as inexpensive as possible, without having a permanently patchy lawn.

Appreciate any insight from anyone smarter than me!

  1. Commenting because i was looking for something about this. I seem to remember finding something about a little pen someone was filling with herbicide to individually brush plants but cant find it now.

I usually pull them out by hand, break down the soil, throw down seed and cover it lightly and just water

“Lawn Liberator” – felt padded scissors you dip in glyphosate and brush directly onto the weeds. Costs $20 or you can DIY with a variety of options.
