I recently bought a pothos and planted it an adorable pot, forgot to take out the drainage plug and then watered the crap out of it- once or more times per week. It was sitting on a windowsill with indirect sunlight. Unsurprisingly, it rotted. It was a brand new plant from the nursery too so quite small with few nodes. After trying to repot it a few times thinking the root rot would magically go away I finally rinsed the roots off (some literally just fell off at the contact) and then went crazy with my scissors in an attempt to propagate. This is what I have left. I have no idea what I’m doing and probably already killed this plant. Do any of these cuttings stand a chance? They’re still brownish in some spots as shown. Sigh. Please help.

Pop those in a cup of water and they should root. Or you can place them directly in soil. Pothos are notoriously good at propagating.
Let them callous over for a day, then throw them in a cup of water. You might see roots develop but it’ll take weeks.
Next time, maybe try growing them in water permanently. It can be easier to care for and there’s less chance of root rot if you do it correctly.
Pothos are pretty resilient plants. I agree to let them callous over for a day and stick them in water.
The two on the outside are definitely viable, the two in the middle might be. Can’t quite make out if there’s a node.
Stick them in water – try not to make it too deep though. The more of the petiole that is in the water, the more likely it is to rot.
