The 80” tall, black tomato cages are the hands down winner.

Large Black Tomato Cages I have are no longer available. The closest I can find appear to be the Tall Titan Cages from Gardeners Supply.

They look great, and keep the tomatoes contained with the least effort. They are sturdy and if I don’t want to leave them up year round, they break down for easy storage.

I have tried Florida weave several times and it just doesn’t work for me. If I lose tomato plant in the line of plants, the whole thing goes haywire. I always end up having to add extra support. I will not use it again.

My Freyr trellis is in its second year of use. The first year I had it in the yard with grow bags to expand my garden space. This year I moved it into one of my raised brick beds. I love the way it looks, but it does require twine and tomato clips and that means some work.
