  1. When your Mom did new raised beds last year I was surprised she didn't order them taller like these. Bending over does not get easier as the years go by.

  2. Where you could have put the second one in, filled it, and then added the third one and filled it. I feel like that was more of a production than needed to be.

  3. Wow! Go big or go home! You guys are going to have soooo many strawberries! How fun! Get your recipes ready!

  4. An idea for the end/corner could be a tapered box. Concider a drone shot and draw it in to see if you like the look before building one. I agree Laura, at first, I thought the bulk against the fence wasn't as pleasant, but it came together nicely! Your back will thank you.

  5. Paul, you rock! Your work does not go unnoticed. Laura and Aaron are so blessed to have you. Thanks to all for sharing your joy with us.โค

  6. They look great! Sharing something I learned when I put in 2 foot tall raised beds (and mine look a lot like yours). They act as a water reservoir and can create a swampy area at their bases. You may not have that trouble being in a dry climate, but I sure did in Houston. I love the height to save my back, so I'm going to take the trouble to install some French drains to run along side my raised bed rows. Can't wait to see your strawberries flourishing in these beds!

  7. Those raised beds are magnificent and so well made! I just love everything you and Aaron do. Was just wondering could you place the 9th box at that curve empty and just leave it for a few days to get a feel for it? Just a thought. Look forward to seeing all your projects come to fruition! Love your YouTube channel!โค

  8. My mind boggles as to the volume of Runners from each plant producing at least 6+ new โ€œStrawbabiesโ€ from each plant ! Are you going to produce Lauraโ€™s Jam?

  9. Love this video and seeing your excitement for the strawberries!! Thank you for sharing!!! And thank you Aaron and Paul!! Nice job!

  10. What a wonderful project! I am very envious of your planters. No back breaking when picking strawberries! One question though. I grew up with my grandfather having strawberries in his garden. I remember him tilling through the mother plant on the third year while having baby plants arranged to be new rows in between. Will your original plants die off or not produce in about two years? What team work you three are! I can't wait to see the yield of strawberries!

  11. I love your new raised strawberry beds! Great job with Paul and Aaron filling them with you. Did you have an individual build them? Iโ€™m going to have to get my handy husband to build me a similar large one for other vegetables. Do you think the cedar works better for all than the metal beds many have? I wonder if the metal beds get too hot and hold in more heat in our summers here in Texas. My strawberries are in those Green Stalk towers since we are in an urban neighborhood. And thankfully I can pull into the garage area and over winter them and Iโ€™ve done that for the past two years. I hope you donโ€™t lose any to hungry birds and crows. I just had to cover mine with bird netting the other day, as I saw a big crow landing nearby and gazing down at them. They are already starting to produce here in my area of Texas. Excited to see your bumper crop this year!

  12. Wonderful strawberry beds! I have one raised strawberry bed and it's a great way to grow strawberries. Good work, team! ๐Ÿ“

  13. Oh, those look so nice there. I think once you see how lovely waist high beds are that you'll want them in your raised beds area. A "false" bottom about halfway up with drainage would cut the amount of fill you need in half.

  14. The dedicated strawberry area looks amazing! Question, do you have landscape fabric under the gravel where you just placed the strawberry beds like you have in your raised bed garden area? Also, where will you place the blueberries or do you plan yo made cedar beds for them too so the berry garden area looks unified?

  15. Amazing!! Super jealous! In the future will you miss not having a recessed toe kick on the box bottoms like kitchen cabinets have? Maybe your feet are tiny so doesnโ€™t matter. Thanks!!!

  16. This kind of raised bed garden for women that have a back problem need ๐Ÿ˜ŠI would love to have one or two or even more someday,๐Ÿ˜ŠGod bless you miss Laura and your family! โค๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผyou always inspire meโคโคโค
