I got a Lewisia a few weeks ago. In the past few days the bottom leaves started yellowing and drooping and the middle part is getting pale green and leaves are standing up.
I am worried it is dying. Could someone help what is wrong and how to save it?

Watering: only watered once soil was super dry
Light: it is in the middle of a west facing room so it gets a quite a bit of light

Windows screen out important parts of the light spectrum that most plants need. When they don’t get enough light, the leaves get pale and thin. The plant sacrifices the lower leaves in favour of top growth, so it can reach for more light. Then it grows long and spindly as it reaches.

In my view, Lewisia is asking politely for a grow light 12-24″ away. It doesn’t have to be expensive, I buy plant-spectrum bulbs at the hardware store and put them in thrifted lamps.
