As long as it’s not squishy it should be fine! What is the watering and lighting situation?

Succulents often change to reds/purples when in bright sun coverage.
This just looks thirsty to me, I water all my aloes once a week or so

I shove my finger into the dirt up to my first knuckle. If I pull it out and it’s dry then I water. If it’s moist I don’t.

Mine looked like that last spring & with some time just honestly basically leaving it alone – I was able to split it up into 4 pots!
Mine was outside all summer then moved into a windowsill with only getting watered when the pot was light.
