A common problem with cacti and succulents is etiolation. This is when a succulent stretches or becomes leggy. Reply with “!etiolation” for advice.

Too little. Whenever they’re wrinkly like that they are very thirsty. You can take it out of the plastic pot and put it into the terracotta pot. That will make it easier for the soil to get rid off excess moisture.

How often are you watering? With succulents, wrinkly leaves can mean one of two things:
1. Too little water. *Most* succs should be watered thoroughly, but infrequently and thrive in full sun.
2. Too much water/too frequent watering. Overwatering succulents can cause root rot when the roots have remained wet for too long. This will cause the roots to be unable to uptake water and you will end up with thirsty looking leaves because the roots aren’t doing their job.

This may be too much for you because you already have the advice you need already but here are some general things about plants and what they can do for you as a human. There are 4 things you must provide for your plant:
1. Adequate Light
2. Enough water, too much or too little will kill it
3. Correct type of soil
4. Air
Now that you know and understand this, look at the plant every day for a few minutes. Really look at it, even be with it for a moment. In this moment you will become a better person if you are able to connect with it, trust me I have seen this transformation 100s of times, it can happen if you make a conscious effort. With this plant, you will begin to notice changes in it every day. What it looks like before and after you water it. How it reacts to rises in temperature, changes in location however slight.
Once this shift has happened inside of you and you are able to spot these very subtle changes, you are on your way to a shift what many in this sub have already experienced. For some it is instinct and for some it needs to be learned over time. As this change occurs in you, you may even elect to start looking at other plants in this same way. Make a similar effort with them for a moment and think about what they need. You can do this with trees, your lawn, or maybe another plant in your window.
Nurturing plants is easy once you reach this understanding, which is as old as man. Plants are simple organisms that only need a combination of those four things above. But know that once you take one in, it’s general health is a reflection of your relationship with it and the world around you.
