😭 I’m sorry OP. I really hope someone may be able to give you directions to hopefully save him. Henry deserves a better grandma and you a better mom.

You can trim the stem, let it callus, and then pot it in very well-draining soil (lots of pumice). It should be fine. I would recommend a 2-3” terracotta pot.

Wait….what….THREE YEARS?? These pics are the same plant (ghost plant) and only about 16-18 months old each….starting as just rootings. Stick that guy back in some dirt and let it reroot. It will also sprout roots in a glass of water. Been growing these things and giving them away for over 45 years. I’m 65. Henry is not dead….just takin a break!!

I have one of these and it just slowly is losing leaves bottom to top I have no idea why I feel bad for it lol

Throw ot back into the pot and wait. It’ll reroot. Promise

  6. Henry is far from dead, these little dudes are resilient as hell. Follow the others advice

Lay it down just like you have it in the picture in some good dirt. It will sprout new roots all down the stalk and keep growing.
