First time posting here and it seems that the body of text got lost when I uploaded the photos, so I’ll post in the comments:

Reading that AVs are lithophytic plants in nature, I decided to experiment with a baby plant ( propped from leaf sometimes in August last year). The plant has been mounted on wood with sphagnum moss and perlite when it had about 8 leaves and she took over. I am not looking for lots of blooms, I am just curious where this will go, but the flower she produced did make me happy. She’s healthy and quite cabbage-like and definitely  not your regular AV, so I hope you’ll like it and I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I am HERE for this! Very nice. It looks so healthy!! Please try this with a trailer. I would, but I have never grown plants on wood before. This is excellent!
