i had a cutting of plant #2 in a small pot. i set it outside to get some sun and my curious pittie decided to help himself to a snack š« . thankfully i found this bit and am wondering if it can be repotted and saved since the roots and some of the stalk are intact – please help!
info: plant was perfectly healthy before. lots of natural sun, normal watering habit, and good drainage. itās a walmart rescue that iām really proud of and wanted to gift the cutting to my MIL

I would be first more concerned to check if the foliage of this plant is poisonous to your pet. (Unless you already did that)
Hey op, this is a toxic plant to dogs. You might want to consider going to a vet because your dog ingested quite a lot of it.
edit/info: my dog didnāt āeatā it necessarily. the cutting only had a few big leaves and i found them shredded, not ingested. it happened this morning and my mischievous boy is his normal happy self. thank you all for the concern – iāll definitely be way more careful in the future now that i know it can be dangerous if he ever did ingest some
i mean, you can let the wound scab over and replant it. id honestly just buy another
Yes, you can replant it. Try to put it at the same depth, so the stem isn’t buried. Keep the soil damp but not wet, and give it good light. Any green remaining can photosynthesize to help it. It will regrow roots before you see any new growth above ground, but patience should be rewarded.

Just replant and do what made it survive b4 Doggie got it. It’s gonna be okay, this time. Hugs to all 3 of youššæš
