My husband accidentally left my plant by the fireplace and realized too late. We’ve obviously moved the plant away from the fireplace. What should I do from here? Is there anything I can do? I water it once a week and it gets plenty of sun.

1. Snip off the damaged leaves just above any additional growth on the stem. They can’t be fixed but the roots and stems are probably just fine. Removing the spoiled leaves allows the plant to put energy toward new growth.
2. Add some perlite to the soil mix, and water only when the top half of the soil is dry, not on a specific schedule.
They are resilient, no need to worry! Maybe trim any dead bits if you can, and hydrate a little extra it may have lost some water.
Yikes! I don’t have any advice, sorry, but I hope she’s saveable.
She is definitely NOT going to leave this earth yet. Unfortunately, flesh is imperfect, we make mistakes. Now, if you think he was being neglectful, pick up that clay pot, take the plant out…. and knock him up side his head! That should help him to listen and be mindful as to what Momma says the next time, hopefully! But cha never know….. ✌🏾💖
