Please provide me a little bit of guidance. I am trying to plant something that would be good for local pollinators and would tolerate being close to the road and potentially have some low light.

    Black-eyed Susans! MD state flower that can thrive even in lower quality soil.

    Low light, and flowers generally do not go together. Road salt will be a major issue as well. You need something that can hold up, maybe try some native grasses instead. Purple love grass, go ravens!
