Had the same idea this year creating a comfrey compost cycle.
Watching this, I was immediately reminded that you have the superpower of the Gulf Stream. We're at a lower latitude but you're at least a couple weeks ahead of us because we have the Pacific and you have the Atlantic. Nice to see you in the garden.

We want to get some chickens, but were a bit put off by all the bird flu stuff. I thought you had to keep them locked up too which just felt a bit cruel. Noticed yours are very happy and in the open air, am I over thinking it?

I've looked all over for Field Beans in my area, and no one seems to have heard of them.
You'd think that something called "Horse Bean" would be popular in a very horsey place, but obviously, South African horses don't eat them!
I'm also clearing my garden, but for winter planting.

Hi Huw. Not to split hairs, but if you're using indigenous structures as comparison, your pea trellis would more accurately be described as a tipi. Wigwams are typically domed. Thanks for the inspiration. I've got to get out into my garden.
