Zoysia so grass has not fully woken up yet. SE Pennsylvania. Unfortunately this gnarly stuff has. I sprayed it with some roundup for lawns (kills weeds not grass kind) and it seems to have done nothing. This is on a hillside it seems to like it there where the grass isn’t as strong.

It showed up last year but seems to have spread a lot more this year. Do I dig it out? Get some other killer more specialized? Thanks for any advice.

That looks like “Star of Bethlehem.” Which is an invasive weed. They are members of the lily family, and are not controlled by grass herbicides.

Not sure. But I’d glyposphate, no additives, it fast. Like this weekend. Or wait until summer time.

  4. looks like an ornamental that invaded the grass. A selective will probably not work here. If you really want it gone you can hand pull it or paint it with glyphosate on the leaves.

its a perenial flowering grass that dies off every fall so just make sure you extract the crown of the plant that may be under ground or close to the soil level and it shouldn’t recover.

If you want to go the glyphosate route, you can spot spray or apply directly to weed leaf to avoid killing nearby grass. Lots of ways to do it, paint brush, paint pen, or what I have good experience with was the lawn liberator. Link [here](https://www.nicegreenlawn.com). Worked really well for me last year to not kill nearby grass by grass.
