We came back from holiday about 3 months ago to find a 3-4cm (1-1.5inch) diameter hole in the lawn which was about 45cm deep. Thought it was lawn grubs so applied pesticide and refilled the hole only to find a new hole has begun to emerge in the same spot. First two photos are the original hole, last two are the new hole.
