Background
Japanese Garden was opened in 1974 by the Jurong Town Corporation as a recreational park for industrial workers in Jurong Town. It was closed in 2019 for reconstruction, and was reopened in 2024. The cycling route through the garden provides a quick shortcut between the Taman Jurong neighbourhood and the Jurong Lake District.

Navigation Tips
Japanese Garden is closed daily from 12 am to 5:30 am. Cycling is banned on all paths within Japanese Garden except the one used in this video. Follow the “No Cycling” and “PCN” markings on the ground to navigate across Japanese Garden.
