My monstera is turning yellow and there are some white gross moldy growth on the soil! The healthy leaves are also turning yellow and worried that the entire plant will turn yellow and die. Not sure if I’m overwatering and there might be a pest problem? There’s some brown spots on the sicklier leaves as well. Would appreciate any advice you have to save this plant!

Im thinking too much water??
She definitely needs a more chunky aroid mix with some orchid bark, large perlite, coco, etc.
That looks like root rot. Usually when mold starts growing on the soil, it indicates that the water isn’t draining very well and/or not being absorbed quickly enough by the plant. The best way to fix that is to repot the plant in a fast draining chinky soil. You’ll want to remove all the soil from the roots and cut off all of the rotten roots before repoting. I like to give the roots a soak with diluted hydrogen peroxide after cutting off the dead roots. This usually helps kill off the bacteria that was causing the rot.
Hope that helps!
The soil is WAY too dense and staying too wet. Fungus on the top is a dead giveaway.
Also, check for thrips just to cover your bases.
From the time you keep water her so go on amazon.com and get you a digital water meter which tells you when to water. Have a nice day
And change your dirt with fresh dirt it’s molding due to over watering as well use perlite and orchid mix with food crumbled before you put back soil make sure the soil is moist with water almost a mud paste mixture with everything and repot it and make sure you get that water meter on amazon.com. don’t forget.
Is it just me or there are multiple plant in that pot ?
