  1. Janey, this looks so very beautiful. Great choices and verbena pink cashmere is one of my favorites. Hope i can find it this
Couldn't find it anywhere last year. Love the tree its stunning. ❤❤❤

  2. Rocks rocks rocks 🪨 make a garden, I love it!! I grow mostly succulents, cactus and agave and I use a ton of rock. I think rocks with annuals and perennials also looks amazing🤗

  3. Great choices! What tone did you use for trees? Bio or tree tone? I figured the rocks cost a lot more than that 😮 That looks so good! 💜 Jen

  4. I love moss rock in a garden. I used to go up and get car loads from my grandmother years ago…really adds to the garden. Moss Roses are really cool too, colorful ground succulent, looks great around moss rock.

  5. Love this compilation! I’m definitely getting some pink cashmere this season 🩷 Question for you and anyone else with advice… How do you keep your garden so nice with a dog and kiddos running around?? I have a small backyard with a pool and two rowdy boys. I want them to play and have space to be kids but I’m constantly saying, Oh watch out for my flowers! Don’t throw that ball near my pots! …Is there a way to have a beautiful garden and raise kids in the same space? 🤦🏼‍♀️

  6. This looks great! I have been to 2 Green Acres. They have your best of the west display, but they don’t have the superbenas 😢

  7. I like the design you created for the end of the berm, looks great! Thinking of people going to the glass door instead of the entry, if you don’t use the step leading to that door perhaps you could extend the deck to cover the step. It would look like a wall if you added a riser on top of the step and capped it with a 2” thick board which would look like a border for the deck. The same thing could be done with the step on the end of the deck. You’d still have the stair that faces the entry. Just a thought, you’ll figure out something, you have great ideas.

  8. Nice Look!! Your Gazebo Looks Really Good!! Rockers look so Comfortable on the Gazebo!! Think Monty was wondering when you are going to play with Him!!😀🤣😂

  9. 5th times a charm! I thought "Now, that's the place!" Maybe one more rock! Remember groups of odd numbers!
Nice to see more bones in the garden.
    Monty's roll of approval! 😊

  10. I absolutely love how your design turned out Janey! That entire area is beautiful and I cannot wait to see how it looks in the middle of spring. 💕

  11. Hi Janey, I saw you at Green Acres, EG, this afternoon. You were talking with staff and I didn’t want to interrupt (too shy)😊. I don’t post much but I do watch and enjoy all your videos.

  12. As it’s only be a year since you moved in your garden is amazing. I just love what you’ve done you should be both very proud of yourselves. Cheers Bronwyn 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

  13. I'm only half way thru and its already SO BEAUTIFUL! 😍 And of course, Monty might be the best design element yet. Love watching your journey! 💚

  14. Not only is your garden growing so is your learning and your garden is showing big results with the conifers and tree structure. This new berm is turning out to be one of my favorite spots. When I look at the honeysuckle espalier below needs structure instead of the flowers all over. This area needs to be tidy and simple. Please don't take offence just stating what I see.

  15. Beautiful additions, the rock are awesome. I never noticed the way the zigzag planter matches the paver design (@14.34) from this angle. Was that intentional, love it. Everything is looking great, so exciting!

  16. Janie, where would I find some pink cashmere superbena close to Sacramento? I purchased a few from creekside nursery but it's taking too long

  17. I’m going to try out the Superbena Pink Cashmere this year, too. What a beautiful color! Could you let me know what Garden supply center you got the rocks from? I need a few bigger rocks as well.

  18. I LOVE the rocks and mini evergreens. For more inspiration, check out Gathering Place in Tulsa Oklahoma. It's a combination family park and nature walk. They use mostly natives and have huge rocks. They also have plantings built over roadways. It's gorgeous!

  19. We love the video and it is so exciting to see our plants in your lovely garden. Great design tips as well!

  20. Have you thought about adding a really big terracotta planter centred below your green man? It would add a nice focal point at the path leading directly to it and it would be a solution to the juglone issue from the walnut tree. On camera, I think the white pots don’t quite flatter the zig zag planter. Switching them out to terra cotta would flatter the natural color of your new gazebo and be a repeating element to your planters in front of the outbuilding, they really suit your property. Maybe you could paint your white pots a true terracotta color for a budget friendly option.
