I ordered carob seeds which should be great big bean seeds. This is what came instead. The package came from China and says it contains a paper greeting card (which, strangely, it did) and no other information is on or inside the package about these seeds. A complete mystery! I have half a mind to try and germinate them just to find out what they are.
Can anyone identify them? I tried google lens and I got a huge variety of things it could be from flowers to trees. I need knowledgeable human eyes. Maybe they are too nondescript and common-looking to be discerned.

Did you order them from a reputable seed company? If so, they should be able to tell you what was accidentally shipped to you. If you didn’t, burn them or dispose of them in some way that will ensure they do not escape into the environment. And only order seeds from reputable seed companies.
Not sure, but you might want to consider reaching out to your local agricultural department if there’s a chance it might have imported an invasive species/might import diseases
Take to your state extension. Never plant random seeds from other countries. They should be able to more accurately identify them in a trustworthy manner. They could be invasive. At the very least email them a picture.
Germinate them in some pots and find out.
DON’T. do not plant those, I really can’t handle a famine right now.
Almost look like apple seeds
Dont order from China
I get these anytime I’ve tried Etsy or China and I’m still not really sure what they are.

Seem nice if you like a mini pine tree.
AI confirmed my suspicions, these are cannabis seeds. Considering weed is highly illegal in china and they look a little strange, you should destroy these. Best case, you get shit weed. Worst case you got some gmo seeds that could spread disease to my beloved cannabis plants, or even disease to humans when smoked. In fact China is not above subtle biological warfare. A restaurant in my town ordered some mushrooms from china and four people died, so I would highly suggest buying your seeds from a more trusted source.
I would incinerate them. Don’t trust weird seeds.
Do not handle or plant them, and instead, contact the USDA or your state’s agriculture department for guidance on proper disposal or reporting. Lots of people received them during the pandemic. You can google it.
Edit: Google this: Receiving unexpected packages of seeds from China, some marked as jewelry.
DO NOT PLANT THESE. CONTACT YOUR STATE EXTENSION.

Fennel
Sow them. Inside. and find out.
Look like juniper seeds, but you should listen to all the very smart and correct people here and dispose of them properly.
