Yes, I keep my heucheras in pots and they are still alive into the 2nd and 3rd year. I lost any that were in the ground. Zone 7/8 Atlanta. Maybe the clay is too much for them.

Was out cleaning around yard today and was shocked to see the Chives in the ground from last yr have grown abt 3 inches . I have been trying for a couple years to get this plant . Im so thrilled !!
