So I bought this plant from the grocery store here in Brazil. It was marketed as Carolina reaper (Capsicum Chinese). Not chinense
It's not turning red nor getting super wrinkly. Makes me think it's a habanero. I have yet to cut one open or taste it.
Inb4 it's a chile, not a pepper.
Thanks in advance!

Looks like a habenero to me
I think it’s a habanero
Scotch bonnet
Orange Habanero?
Take a little nibble. Dont touch your eyes!
It’s a chinense, it was obviously a typo.
It looks closer to a Scotch bonnet, another C. Chinense much like habaneros and Carolina reaper, although the latter has some C. frutescens parentage. It could be a habanero still they are not particularly uniform in shape.
Chile or pepper?? Chilli, aji, uchu, kyinha, call it whatever you want.
Let it grow see if it gets a stinger
Looks like Jamaican yellow mushroom pepper
Similar to scotch bonnets
It looks mean. They are the best kind.
I had some that looked just like this. It was identified as a scotch bonnet but found their flavour a bit more lemony.
A nice scotch bonnet! Spicy!!! Like a habanero but sweeter.
I use these plus yellow bell peppers and yellow tomatoes in my mango salsa. It keeps the salsa a little hot, a little sweet, and a pretty yellow color.
I think habenero. But regardless, I guarantee it’s a hot AF pepper.
Looks like scotch bonnet. They grow all over the place in the Caribbean.
Eat it. If it’s hot and yummy it’s a delicious pepper
If it gets a stinger, it’s Carolina Reaper.
Scotch bonnet.
