Hi guys, I’m new to propagating. I’ve had this small cutting in a jar of water for about two weeks with the nodes submerged and pearls hanging out. It appears to only be growing out of one node, and I can’t tell if it is growing roots or new pearls. Should I leave it submerged in water or transfer it? I’m worried about it rotting and the fact that only one node has growth. Any tips?

Hey, first time giving advice lol. I’ve got a string of turtles, in water, ( been there for 8 weeks ) just stating to root now. Just keep changing the water and don’t give up. Hope it goes well.

Mine prop great in water, have had no luck with dirt props
I had good root growth in water but it died when I transferred it to soil, I think the soil needs to be added a tiny bit at a time to the water to acclimatise the roots.
