Hi from a new member of the group. Not at all a green thumb or greenhouse expert

I bought this decorative plant display case from IKEA that's meant to look like a greenhouse but the glass panes aren't coated in anything so it doesn't function as a greenhouse.

Is there a self-adhesive film or something that anyone would suggest that I could put on the greenhouse, that's relatively cheap, that I could use to make this a greenhouse? I did a Amazon search but a lot of items are just tarps or white film but they come in bulky amounts. Are modern greenhouses not actually green anymore?

  1. there’s a whole sub for this (can’t find the name) my wife has two of these working as mini greenhouses

I have one of these, what do you mean “make it a greenhouse”? As an aside, succulents look awesome in a greenhouse like this but the high humidity and lack of drainage will kill them pretty fast.

There’s a terrarium sub Reddit. I’m not sure what u want the film to do?
Seal it or create a background? For my salt water tanks I used window film from the auto parts store

Greenhouse glazing (ex. glass, polycarbonate, other plastics) is meant to trap heat from the sun. It doesn’t need any special coating or greenness to do that.
