Seeded a tad later then I would have liked on 11/20/25 in Dallas area. I had done a reno the year before with Pennington K31 (yes yes I know now) and put down a heavy seeding of Resilience II this time.

Germination was good but took a little longer than I was expecting. Weather cooperated until January snow/ice cover for a few days. Spring has been typical but a bit cooler than last year.

Overall very happy but it’s not getting very tall after my final cut for the winter. The color is phenomenal.

I get a lot of hate around here for trying to grow fescue so far south in the transition zone, but I have a solid plan to make it work.

Look at color! Not bad for early March.
