Hi! First time post here. I’m an artist in a rural area where there aren’t shoulders on the roads and most driveways have “no turnaround” type of signs posted, which I respect. I’m trying to paint landscapes of the fields, outbuildings, and farms in my quickly developing area to capture their beauty before neighborhoods and stores completely replace them. But it’s tough and often unsafe to take photos while driving, and I don’t intend to trespass or approach residential buildings as a stranger. Does anyone recommend a way to get permission to park on a field entrance off the road and hop out to take a few photos from beside my vehicle? Often fields aren’t even attached to residences, they’re just standing alone so I don’t even know how to find the owner to ask. Would appreciate your perspectives as farm owners. Including a few pics of my paintings from photos taken from my car 😬 for context (I don’t need to go far into these fields, I just want to take some photos safely just off the road of these beautiful scenes to use as reference). Thanks in advance.
