I posted this the hydroponics subreddit but wanted to show it off here too 😀
More Info:
It started with me wanting to grow fresh greens year round indoors but with very limited space. Discovered hydroponics and immediately knew that was what I wanted. I don’t like going outside, just wanted something close by for me to pick at. I like the cuteness of individual pots scattered across my kitchen window so I went with the Kratky method. I did not want my kitchen looking like a PVC factory so that pretty much eliminated most complete systems I saw online. That is why I went with these small 1 liter pots, aesthetics. The lights can be adjusted up and down as needed. The cons of course is that I can’t grow anything that big and I have to check and refill the water a few times a week. But tending to them has been relaxing/meditative for me and I can’t wait to check on them every day. In the future I may install a water level gauge to each pot so I don’t have to physically check the weight all the time.
I have a youtube short showing more if anyone wants to see it. Thinking of documenting my journey.
