I move my tomato outdoor after indoor nursery. While some seems to thrive and product more leaves, some seems dying as all leave fall off. What are the causes of the dying? The discrepancy of surviving rate makes me suspicious if birds have eaten them.

Not ready to be transplanted. They’re drying out

  2. Looks like something has been munching on those seedlings, possibly slugs or snails?

Regardless, these could have done with a few more weeks indoors, you normally transplant tomatoes outdoors once they have 3 or 4 sets of leaves and are a bit more robust.
