I picked up both these plants from my coworker and am trying to make sure they survive! I’m not sure what either of them are but the snake plant looking one looks like it’s drying out? Any tips on how to care for them?

Ps. I have a grow light at home that I’ve been keeping them under and watering when they fully dry out. They are also about half way up a wall that has a floor board for heat.

The wandering jew/dude is the tradescantia and the other one is some kind of bromiliad (pineapple relative)

It’s a Callisia repens (related to tradescantia) and I think a bromeliad.

Callisia grows pretty quickly but also dies quickly. Seemingly water issues. A tricky plant to truly keep alive, but it grows quickly enough to make up for it. So it’s usually a bit of a continuous chop-n-prop plant. It doesn’t like water sitting on the leaves, I recommend bottom watering.

Bromeliad is a Neoregelia of some variety. Water lightly in the cup once a week or 10 days depending how dry the atmosphere is.

Ive had three and all of them lived fast and died fast. Nothing I did kept them alive. Hade to propagate each cutting I trimmed off.
