So 2 weeks ago this plant was seeing its last days and i decided to do something about it . Turns out it was over watered and i repotted. Now it’s starting to grow new leaves which is great but the leaves already there from before have stayed like the picture, If anything slightly worse. Could they have just a delayed effect and they had to get worse before better? Or would these leaves slow down any progress for the new leaves growing? Would love to know any tricks to help them out.

When you repot, did you cut off all the dead root? The tree need a few weeks to bounce back and slowly see new growth. Only water it maybe once a month using bottom water with a few drop of fertilizer in it (i use fish emulsion). Give it a good soak for 1 hrs or so. These tree store water in their trunk so it can be without water for a long time and sensitive to over water.
