This is the second or third time I try having a dieffenbachia in my house. But sooner or later the leaves at the bottom start turning yellow and eventually falling off. And as you can see, this one doesn't look good either. I give it water once a week and it stands approximately 1.5 meters from a window. It doesn't have that much direct sunlight. How do I save this plant and make it look healthier?

I have the same issue, I decided to chop all his stems and put the top halves in water. So far there is a bit of new growth on the stems but that’s about it lol
