We have a new build house finish construction in August 20 24 in September beginning of October we put down grass seed. We also added pop-up drains to our downspouts. Problem is even though we had the yard “graded“ there’s still low spots and the ground is extremely wet to the point you could sink to your shins. What can I do to alleviate the excess water while also dealing with the low spots were in the Midwest southern Illinois to be exact

1st. You made duplicate post.
If you’re being sincere when you say you sink up to your shins you have bigger problems. If this is true you need someone other than lawncare help. I’d be calling the builder and an attorney.
I can tell the seed washed because of the rows in photo 1. This seed should have been covered or maybe a hydroseed job or sod on an planting like this.
One of two things. It’s not graded properly bc you have seed in photo two, and can clearly seed where the water is running/puddling in the lawn (area lol), and pushed the seed in the other photo. So, maybe it’s just a low spot. that needs new grade. OR you you just has a series of gully washers that moved the seed and there is nothing there to hold any water. Either way if it’s a low spot, it’ll probably cause problems for the lawn down the road, but grass is very good at erosion control and holding moisture, but there is only so much it can overcome.
