I got this lovely fellow several months ago with the flower stalk already on it. In all the time since then, though, the flowers haven't opened. I'm guessing it was because the plant was allowed to dry out in the shop. It's growing a beautiful little pup, though, so I know it's healthy. My question is, is there any chance the flowers will still open or will I have to wait for the pup to flower?

The flower stalk looks good, not dried out looking, so I’ve learned not to hold my breath waiting for Tillandsia to open the blooms. Some take months. Don’t give up hope.
