I've just embarked on my gardening journey! Five days ago, I planted cucumber seeds, and I've come across information suggesting that if the leaves start curling, it could be a bad sign. Is that accurate? If so, how can I prevent or remedy this issue? As a first-timer, I'm beginning to feel a bit discouraged.

  1. These are just the seed leaves, I wouldn’t worry too much just yet. I’ve grown a few squash and melons over the years (same family), and this is kind of how they always look at first. Wait until the first “true” leaves have developed, and see if those look more normal.
