Great video, always enjoy your content. We garden in Alberta, Canada. In the last three years, we have not managed to grow any good-sized onions despite growing nice large onions in the past. We have tried so many different ideas to achieve the big onion but to no success. We grow wala wala, kelsey, and a few others. We have never direct sown the seed as our growing season is tight, but maybe we should try. Any suggestions or tips? Thank you, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the great information on onions. I watch all your videos and I appreciate you sharing your knowledge to help folks grow better food.
South-eastern Saskatchewan here. I tried Pattersons for the first time last year and they were GREAT. Not only are they doing well in storage, they are noticeably tasty. Several times after using them in a dish my husband has actually commented "Wow, these onions are really good".
