In my (admittedly amateur) experience with Money Trees, you can leave these on or pluck them off. If all the leaves on a stem start to look this way, you can pluck the stem off. It usually allows the plant to sprout new stems with fresh leaves, and leads to a fuller tree overall. Hope this helps!
