It’s a good feeling to see all the pretty things coming in and also when you were doing a tour of the plants you got in you said this was the best perennial ever, but you didn’t say the name
My goodness that mulberry was so rotten in center. Good call taking it out before it caused any damage. The hellebore plants are my absolute favorite. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, Susan! I need the smell of soil and green! Beginning in March, I’ll go to every local nursery around me and just walk through and take deep breaths. I don’t buy anything unless I find an irresistible house plant, I just breathe!
Wow a great amount at the agar den Center so fun to see all the process, Laura what a great haul you have started with, the tree definitely was in need of being taken out, sadly seeing it being taken down, but will be no worries over now
04:36 did something happen ?
RIP Mulberry.😢 Hard for you to see it go, but safety first❤
Sad about the Mulberry tree, but it was its time. You could clearly see the rot. Lost a silver maple to the same thing. As you stated, the children played around it a lot, so taking it down was the best thing to do. Now your maple lane will be continuous. Aww the load of flowers! Love all the Hellabore. The ferns are so pretty. Hope many will end up by the pond area . Nothing says natural woods than ferns scattered thru out. Daffodils are pushing up and will be blooming soon here in Central Georgia. Camelias are loaded with buds,so are the tulip trees. Spring is just around the corner.
The removal of that tree made me cry!! Why did I get so emotional!!?? 🥹
Russell is saying, hey, what the heck happened to my very comfy bed. Although it sure smells good in here……
I know it’s hard, but you made the right decision! Not a doubt in my mind.
My husband’s entire family had a very near miss with an old oak tree at my in-laws’ house when our son was just 2 years old. Our family still calls it the Thanksgiving the Tree Fell. Had it happened even ten minutes later, the entire family would have been out in the yard, under that tree, waving to my husband as he left Thanksgiving dinner early for his 3rd shift job at the power company. No one knew the tree had soft roots or heart rot, and we didn’t realize that all the rain we’d gotten recently had softened the soil around the tree so much that there was really nothing holding it in the ground anymore. We definitely had all our guardian angels working overtime that day. ❤😄
Yes, Good Morning to you, Barb!!!!!!👋😜
That was one magnificent tree removal. Clean, exacting, superior tools and men to make the job quick. Superbly done.
Wow the tree people really are amazing! Morning Barb!! Deanna @gardensglory
i was so sad watching the tree removal, and that Barb's friend caught me offguard…..lmao…..sweet tho…Hi too Barb ^^
To every thing there is a season, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. Eccl 3:2
Beautiful flowers ❤Aaron and crew did a great job on the tree❤
I would also like to wish a Good morning to Barb.. and to all of the. other viewers as well! Loved watching the tree come out! Fascinating!
Amazing!
They nailed the job at the end of the video . Wow !
Toad lilies. They do great if you keep them wet and also they need a lot of compost. Mine didn't do very well until I top dressed with a thick layer of compost. Also, try to keep the bunnies away and spray for slugs. I use slug bait, cayenne pepper powder and red pepper flakes. If you can keep them going the flowers will give you such a thrill. They really are worth the effort.
I love all of the new plants😊. I need to find some for my new yard in zone 7b. Seeing the big tree come down hurt my heart. I cried the whole time watching. It needed to be done but it still was very sad😭
That was sad to watch the tree being taken down, so sad. It was so big around the girth. Very empty feeling……..hmmm……….
I still get teary eyed over losing my favorite tree at least 25 years ago to a cancer. It sat out at the end of our driveway. I have no idea how old it was…. our farmhouse ( Georgian style, 200 years old last year… 2024) was the perfect shape beautiful maple….the oranges and yellow
Fall colors. It was close to the road and for safety we took it down. I still miss my tree! The branching was awesome! 😢🌳
Watch the tree come down was breaking my heart. Then seeing the disease it had. Oh my. It was time. Love all you video here. I appreciate all the knowledge you share. I use what I can here in East Coast North Carolina .
Good morning, Barb! 😊
Oh yeah it was half rotted !! It's had such a great shape though😢 RIP
1038 mark "these are just the best perennials…" what are their names? I think your mom said it but difficult to hear.
Well that fade out at the end made me tear up. Weird🥹🤪
Do the people unloading inspect for bugs as they take the plants off, or as they put them out for display, or do you just hope for the best?
I’m so glad you removed the tree! Too dangerous for your family. Amazing how they make it look as if it were never there. 🌸
I know exactly how you feel! We had a tree taken down a couple years ago it had to be at least 100 years old. A sad day. Loosing an old friend😟 since we have had about 30 other Ash trees taken down because of invasive beetle. Emerald ash borer. Love 🌳
Wow❤❤❤❤😮😢😊😊love the new plants..cried for your Mulberry tree….
Hi Laura. Love your garden and teaching us. Have you ever considered taking us to where your parents buy those healthy plants and watch them getting their plants ready to grow and sell and how they go about it?
HELLEBORES ANYONE?😂
I'm super excited!! I've especially enjoyed over the last couple of years seeing just how much your ground cover efforts have taken off in your garden. Ground cover plants are à huge benefit in one's garden. Can't wait to see these go in.
Love 💕 all the plants I wish I could get a truck load….
Wow, that was a lot of rot in that tree!! Good thing you decided to take it down. You always seem to find the best people to do your repairs, landscape, tree haul etc.
